Umana (Mario) Technical High School is built.
1975
Architect: Eisenberg & Schiffer Associates. Named for the East Boston state representative, senator, and judge, the school is located at 312 Border Street. It merges with Boston Technical High School and moves to Madison Park in 1989. The building becomes the Umana/Barnes Middle School.
